About
I am Professor in the School of Economic Sciences at Washington State University, Distinguished Researcher in the Economic Analysis Department at the University of Valencia, and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Environmental and Resource Economics (ERE) and International Review of Environmental and Resource Economics (IRERE).
My research interest focuses on topics related to Environmental Economics, Game Theory and Industrial Organization. I have extensively examined the strategic effects of environmental regulation on firms’ profit and consumers’ behavior. I am also interested on the management of Common Pool Resources, the impact of adaptation to mitigate climate change, the signaling role of ecolabels under uncertainty, and the co-existence of different regulatory agencies on merger decisions.
